Design Students restore museum replica to working order

Design students at Wayne-Finger Lakes Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) restored our dilapidated, leaking waterwheel to “better than” working order.  This replica of a 1800s hydropower component has developed into a working system resembling those actually used in 19th century mills.  Students in Ross Baglio’s Drafting/CAD class and New Vision engineering program did a wonderful job.  Combining students from Honeoye High School, Romulus, Geneva, Dundee and Mid-Lakes, prototypes developed into a successful working waterwheel. Come in and see the finished product…

Mrs. Buckwald’s 4th Grade Class from Elizabeth Cady Stanton School visited the Seneca Museum, in early June, and had a wonderful afternoon of education and fun.
