Message from Director:

Hello!  Welcome to Seneca Falls and Seneca Museum of Waterways and Industry.  We hope you will take time to first stop at the Visitors Center to see what is available in this historic village.  Please take time to visit Seneca Museum’s wonderful three floor museum in the heart of downtown (the only building with the bright blue awning) highlighting the Erie Canal, as well as the Cayuga-Seneca Canal.  At one time Seneca Falls was the “pump capital of North and South America” and the “fire engine capital of the world”.  Our four dioramas help to explain how and why Seneca Falls changed.  The canal level has “hands-on for children of all ages”.  So, please stop by and pay us a visit.  We look forward to your visit!
